BBC Wildlife – Exodus – Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter is Our Media Limited (company number 05715415) a company incorporated in England and Wales whose registered address is at Vineyard House, 44 Brook Green,         Hammersmith, London W6 7BT.

2. The BBC Code of Conduct for competitions can be found at https://www.bbc.com/editorialguidelines/guidance/code-of-conduct and all BBC magazines comply with the Code.

3. The promotion is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands, aged 18 years or older, except the Promoter’s employees or contractors and anyone connected with          the promotion or their direct family members.

4. The closing date for entries is 23:59 pm on 30/09/2023

5. By entering the promotion, the participants agree:

  • to be bound by these terms and conditions;
  • that their surname and county of residence may be released if they win a prize; and
  • that should they win the promotion, their name and likeness may be used by the Promoter for pre-arranged promotional purposes.

6. Entrants should enter by answering a multiple choice question and completing the form on the Exodus BBC Wildlife Advertorial. Entries received after the closing date of the         promotion will not be considered.

7. Entrants must supply to Our Media Limited their full name and email address. The Promoter will use entrants’ personal details in accordance with the Immediate Privacy Policy         (www.immediatemedia.co.uk/privacy-policy).

8. Only one entry will be permitted per person, regardless of method of entry. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.

9. One  winner will be chosen, winning a trip to Botswana which includes:

  • 2 x places on a small group adventure tour with Exodus Travels with all inclusions as stated in the current itinerary at time of booking on the Exodus Travels website https://www.exodus.co.uk/trips/botswana-holidays/wildlife/wildlife-wilderness-of-botswana/wzt
  • The prize winners will spend 11 nights full-service camping and two nights normally in chalets or lodges at the Victoria Falls. All breakfasts, seven lunches, seven dinners, all accommodation, tour leader and all transport and listed activities in the itinerary including game viewing by foot, safari vehicle and boat.
  • This prize does not include flights to Botswana, transfers to/from airport (in the UK), pre/post nights’ accommodation, travel insurance or any optional activities not stated in the itinerary on the Exodus website.
  • The prize winners will be required to organise their own Visas to Botswana and Zimbabwe and responsible for covering the cost of these themselves.
  • The possibility of the trip taking place is contingent upon the winner arranging their own flights and visas. If the winner encounters financial or visa related limitations which means they are unable to carry out the trip, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner in such situations
  • Prize is not transferable; it is only for the use of the winner (i.e. the lead passenger) and there is no cash alternative.
  •  Offer valid on any departure up to 29th September 2024, subject to availability.

10. The winning entrants will be the first correct entries drawn at random from all the correct entries after the closing date.  The Promoter’s decision as to the winners is final and no         correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into. The Promoter may share the winners’ details with the prize provider for the purpose of fulfilling the prizes.

11.  The winners will be notified within 14 days of the close of the promotion by email. If the winners cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 28 days of such notification being         sent, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner up, or to re-offer the prize in any future promotion.

12. The surname and county of residence of each winner will be available upon request by sending an SAE to BBC Wildlife Magazine, Exodus Travels Competition, Eagle House,         Bristol, BS1 4ST within two months of the closing date of the promotion. The Promoter will contact the winners before releasing this information and provide the winners the         opportunity to object or limit the amount of information shared.

13. There is no cash alternative and the prizes will not be transferable. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes         with one of the same or greater value.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances         arise outside of its control.

15. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.

16. The Promoter excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the promotion or         occurring to the winners arising from his or her acceptance of a prize.

17. The promotion is subject to the laws of England.
